Okay, so you now know the basics of animation. It's a lot of work, even when you are using a computer. Just think of how many hours you would have spent drawing the spider movie out by hand if you were doing this the old-fashioned way with a stack of paper and a pencil. Not to mention, once you have all those pages drawn, you somehow have to photograph them, in order, to get them onto film.
You can certainly play around with your spider, and make him do other things. I know I couldn't help but make him wiggle and jiggle just to have more fun.
Here I made him actually *do* something in order to get out of his terrible fix. Not only that, but I added in a wicked awesome page turning effect. What do you think?
Here, is a different effect, the standard ol' fade out. (Really, I like that one best. It's classic, while still being cool.)
Which do you like better, and why? :-)
Let's examine some of the problems you might encounter while animating. I hope you didn't have any problems, but just in case, take a look at Technicalities.
